The Tree of Life

Description

The Tree of Life is first mentioned in Genesis chapter three, but this Tree is also mentioned in Revelation chapter 22 – the first and last books of the Bible. In between these two mentions, we discover the three temptations of man: The lust of the eyes; the lust of the flesh; and the pride of life. What David describes in this booklet, is how Eve, Adam’s wife, and Jesus, each faced these same three temptations. David then goes on to chart how the problems which the Children of Israel experienced as a nation in their relationship with God, became a pattern for the Gentile nations, which, after the death of Jesus, became for us all, God’s way of salvation. Thus despite these three temptations, which we all have to face, there is a way of escape.
