Description
“It was the Lord who called me into His ministries,” says Don McCurry. “It was the Lord who gave me the experiences reflected in these stories.
“Sometimes He led by dreams or special words. At other times He taught me through the people He sent me to serve. Whether He was disciplining me, encouraging me, pruning me, or enlightening me, He was always there, the Master Teacher and Friend. But He was much more than that as you will see when you begin to read these tales.
“’Don, you teach by telling stories,’ people said. ‘Why don’t you write them down?’ Nothing happened. Finally, they said, ‘Don, we want you to write one story a month for the next five years.’ Well, over time these stories actually grew to the 101 that you will read in this volume.”
Dr Don McCurry is currently the President of Ministries to Muslims based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He edited The Gospel and Islam and wrote Healing the Broken Family of Abraham: New Life for Muslims.
This veteran missionary has worked in Pakistan and pioneered work in Central Asia with Open Doors while that area was imprisoned behind the Iron Curtain. For more than 50 years he has travelled throughout the world, training Christians to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to make disciples among Muslims.
