About Us

Eurasia Education Foundation goes back to 1982 when the Romanian Aid Fund was founded by a Romanian pastor and English friends to support persecuted Romanian Christians. With the fall of Communism, the focus shifted to the urgent need for theological education in Central Asia and the organization was renamed Eurasia Education Foundation (EEF).

Today, EEF is run by Ron and Nancy George who met while serving with Operation Mobilization. EEF aims to provide theological education to believers in persecuted nations and supports Divitia Gratiae University (DGU) and satellite schools to equip national Christians with Scripture knowledge for effective Gospel outreach in Central Asia, Iran, the Caucasus, Northern India and Pakistan – a mission field of over 300 million people.

We believe that the most effective way to reach Eurasia with the Gospel is by equipping local believers to share the Gospel within their own cultures. This vision has become a reality at DGU where over 4,000 graduates have returned home to: strengthen and lead churches; start businesses which uplift communities; help the poor and those battling addiction; expand the mission into new regions.

Our vision is for self-governing, growing churches across Eurasia; independent yet united, supporting and holding each other accountable in all circumstances. Such churches will be rooted in Biblical authority, relying on Scripture as God’s inspired guide for life in the Spirit. They will move forward in cultural grace, recognizing different expressions of faith while valuing unity over differences in interpretation. And they will be mission-driven, obeying Christ’s call to reach new areas of evangelization as led by the Spirit.

In achieving this vision the churches of Central Asia and the West can strengthen each other in unique ways. Central Asian believers testify to God’s faithfulness in hardship, while the Western Church offers theological depth although sometimes lacking practical application. Both perspectives are vital if our mission is to be achieved.
